After two years of leaving this site in the shadows due to life changes—from getting a new apartment for a year, leaving my job, and eventually moving to another state and settling in...
I'm finally back!
I've been working on quite a bit recently, from a fanfic of Jeepers Creepers, to a couple of new short and feature screenplays, and ultimately finishing my latest projects, Halls of Sorrow and Where the Bad Kids Go.
JEEPERS CREEPERS 3
Jeepers Creepers has always been a favorite series of mine, at least with the first two movies. I haven't bothered to see '3' or 'Reborn'. But, I don't need to, as I've partnered with my friend Zack Akers to help me plot out the development for Jeepers Creepers III: Here Comes the Bogeyman. While has seen the actual third (and fourth) film, he still claims that our version is how they should have taken the franchise.

Jeepers Creepers 3: Here Comes The Bogeyman. A group of neighbors in a new housing development band together to survive the first night that the Creep returns to eat.
PINK FEET
As just a quick idea for practice and to help keep the old noggin in check, this short was written purely as exercise. Zack had given me the theme "pink feet" to write a story based off of. This is what I came up with.

Pink Feet. A skeptical teen ventures into a cursed house for a dare, only to confront the terrifying legend of "Pink Feet."
SHEEPSKIN
When Rosemary's Baby meets The Stand, you get Sheepskin. I can't remember how or even why this idea came to me, but it stuck with me, and I had started writing it alongside my novel, Halls of Sorrow before taking a break due to personal reasons. Once I got back into it, I didn't stop.

Sheepskin has everyone, including the reader, questions who to believe in this terrifying thriller about a couple held hostage by a man who believes the wife is pregnant with the antichrist.
THE NIGHTLY TRASH PICKUP
Once again, Zack helped me out with this idea when I wanted to get over a hump of writer's block paired with motivation to write. He gave me the theme of "taking out the trash, but make it scary."

Prepare for a weird night from The Nightly Trash Pickup, when a new kid in town becomes curious about his strange neighbor after noticing that his trash service only comes at night.
Stay tuned for updates about Halls of Sorrow and Where the Bad Kids Go, which have been more projects that I've worked on over the past two years. But if you don't want to wait check them out on Amazon!
